The print “The Great Demise of the Pollinators” is part of my pollinator series. The sacred and the earthly meet in this triptych, which is inspired by late medieval illuminated manuscripts. Side panels depict scenes of cotton and corn plants, a hallmark of our industrial farm industry, which flank the center piece where bees are positioned on top of molecular structures. The print is a prayer to pollinators and a solemn reminder about different worlds colliding.
