Silkscreening

It has long been my passion. In the early 90's I worked on Rauschenbergesque pieces, where I collected found objects -- mostly flat cans and hub caps -- and printed them on canvases and paper. In the late 90's I got hooked on the large scale pop art murals, where I loosely printed stencils intertwined with drawings on large pieces of paper. Recently, I have scaled back to more desk size prints, using my drawings and the photographic process to layer my images. A big influence of mine was and still is my friend and teacher Luis Jimenez. And since coming to the East Coast I have been blessed to meet Nancy McIntyre.
