2002, I am now in Washington, DC -- the nation's capitol! Wohooo, what better times to live here than now? With world history being written, it sure has been an interesting time, I have to say.
Highlights in Washington DC has been the free art museums with the Sackler and Freer Gallery being one of my favorites. Ahhhh subculture… can't forget to mention ArtDC.Org, Eighty-Eight, and Artomatic. In between all that, I founded my own art group Art Outlet. 2006 proved to be a hectic year. Our house suffered a fire -- I call it the Kenmore Fire now, but luckily I was home and prevented the fire from destroying my art studio.
Since 2004, I have been expanding my artist network. Next to working at Discover Graphics, I hang out with many artist colleagues and DC has been quite a treat. You can find out more about my 'artist life' on my blog. I am posting weekly news and comments on contemporary art and my own art.
